Feuille by Miskeo Parfums

Feuille by Miskeo Parfums

Imagine golden, autumnal tones emerging from the echoes of the warmer seasons almost gone. Feuille reflects the sounds of summer, carried on the breeze that now brings with it a crisp bite. The promise of chilly days to come. The smell of dried grasses blend with the...

Every Single Perfume I Wore in July

Every Single Perfume I Wore in July

July is one of the coldest months for Brisbane, and I expected to be wearing some of my heaviest, most wintery, cozy perfumes. I did get to wear some, but to be honest I was still very much craving lighter scent profiles. The weather wasn't really playing nicely...

Every Perfume in June

Every Perfume in June

June was a fun month for me for perfume. Even though June - being winter in Australia - is one of our cooler months, we did have a week in Bali for a friend's birthday. So, I got to throw a few "fun, tropical island holiday" fragrances into the mix. As always I do...

Every Perfume I Wore in May

Every Perfume I Wore in May

This is my first blog post in this series of trying to understand what I am really wearing. May was a limited month - we were still away for the first couple of weeks after attending a conference in Madrid in late April. So, this isn't fully comprehensive as I did...

No Buy: No Perfume in 2022

No Buy: No Perfume in 2022

Why No-Buy? 2022 definitely started with a bang for me. So much so, that my credit card is almost smoking from the overuse it experienced in January. Why did I go so nuts? I can't tell you, exactly. There have been some personal stresses, a little bit of anxiety...

Scent Memory | Fragranze, Pitti September 15-17th

I am destined for Europe later this year to get married, honeymoon and revel in the early Autumn sun of France and Italy. Right now I am trying to decide what fragrances I want to wear for the big event and beyond, to create a wonderful scent memory, plus I also want...

Ingenious Ginger | Goldfield & Banks

Ingenious Ginger | Goldfield & Banks

Ingenious Ginger (I just love the name), the latest release from Goldfield & Banks has finally launched in Australia! I have ordered a sample and will be sharing my thoughts soon! With notes of Ginger, Bergamot, Lemon, Magnolia, Jasmine, Rose, Mandarin,...

About Me

Fragrance is an integral part of my daily existence. Our existence.

The olfactive senses – unlike taste, sight and hearing – are linked directly to the limbic system.  This creates a very powerful connection between scent and emotions & memories.

My preferences are always changing, but Tuberose, Vetiver and Sandalwood are notes that I resonate with very strongly (not necessarily all at the same time) and if I cannot decide what mood I am in, I will gravitate to those.
