Have you ever stumbled upon a fragrance house that instantly intrigued you with every spritz? That’s how I felt about Artimíque.
Artimíque is a young, Venice-based brand (first release 2023) founded by Sara Marzocchini, a chemist and pharmacist with a deep appreciation for perfumery as both science and art.
Collaborating with perfumer Cristiano Canali, Sara has crafted a collection that blends familiarity with unexpected twists that are wearable, memorable, and very addictive.
In this post, I’m sharing a quick look at the four fragrances I’ve sampled: Philtre d’Ambre, Shower & Smoke, Jasmin Gyokuro, and Coconut Blanket. Each of these deserves a deeper dive, which I’ll be posting separately… but for now, here’s a taste.
Philtre d’Ambre
A resinous, salty amber with a twist of algae and dusty herbal green.
If you think you’ve smelled every amber out there, think again. This one has a leathery undertone in the dry down and a gorgeous thread of freshness that makes it far more versatile than you’d expect. Addictive, unusual, and beautifully composed.

Shower & Smoke
Citrusy, crisp, and ever-so-slightly smoky, like shower-clean skin in a cotton shirt that is freshly laundered but still retains a whisper of smokiness from the last time it was worn.
I love the way it balances a clean, citrusy brightness with just a hint of brooding warmth. It’s not edgy for the sake of it, the smoke is elegant, restrained, and intriguing. Just enough to make you (or someone close to you) want to lean in.

Jasmin Gyokuro
Bright jasmine tea wrapped in tropical florals.
If you love white florals, this is effortlessly charming. There’s a tea-like freshness at first, but the heart becomes lush, opulent, and subtly seductive. Definitely a “beach goddess” in a bottle.

Coconut Blanket
Clean, innocent and soft. Coconut water meets creamy woods and airy musk.
This scent surprised me. It’s fresh, cooling and aquatic up top (with mint and citrus), but the drydown melts into warm, skin-like comfort. It’s one of the few coconut fragrances I’ve worn that doesn’t veer into heavy sweetness or sun lotion territory.

Overall Thoughts
Artimíque might be new on the scene, but the line is already exhibiting impressive range and coherence. Each scent stands on its own, but together they feel like a complete story: one of curiosity, craftsmanship, and contrast.
There’s a lot of beauty here, but also tension… the kind that makes you want to keep smelling and discovering. Perhaps you will love them all, perhaps one will speak more to you than others, but I find it hard to believe anyone would struggle to find something they really enjoy here.
I came to sampling this brand without any preconceived expectations, but I have been genuinely surprised by the journey these scents have taken me on. These fragrances have opened me up to scent profiles I never thought I could really appreciate, and that is something worth exploring. Personally, I can’t wait to see what Artimíque does next.
